N2  - George B. Dent's survey notebook B for 1874-1892 as scanned by Maryland State Archives.  There are 129 scans containing two notebook pages each.  This notebook is difficult.  The chronology of entries is erratic and earlier surveys done by others, especially Benjamin Tippett, are often copied into this book.  The pages of the notebook are numbered, but the numbers are not always visible.  The handwriting is challenging and not always the same.  Many pages have been damaged in one way or another.  Legible personal and property names are included in this record.
