Pages 1001 and 1002 consisting of Appendix L - the Report of Mr. S. T. Abert. Report details dredging operations and costs for Breton Bay in 1889. First is a small color map of Breton's Bay from the Potomac River to its mouth at Leonardtown showing water depths, dredging performed in 1899, and dredging proposed to be done. The second map details the Leonardtown Channel as surveyed November 1-3, 1889. Shows the location of Blackstone Wharf (destroyed), St. Mary's Wharf, Pabst Wharf, and Powell Wharf (destroyed).
